The Juilliard Centennial Celebration, Limited Edition 100

Since 1905, the evolution of American music and popular culture has been inseparable from The Julliard School in New York City. To commemorate this institution's centenary in 2005, Montblanc is issuing a limited series of 100 special fountain pens: The Julliard Centennial Celebration, Limited Edition 100. The black, highly-polished barrel creates a harmonious contrast to the accents in 750 white gold. With its elegant clip formed in the shape of the "Juilliard" initial, its diamond-encrusted rings and its cap ring engraved with the words "Julliard School, 100 years", this fountain pen pays a dazzling tribute to The School. The portrait of Augustus D. Juilliard finely chiselled on the 18-carat gold nib leaf trim pays homage to the founder of The School, whose reputation worldwide has never waned in the last 100 years.
